Samsung is set to debut the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo, a revamped version of its Jet Bot robot vacuum, at CES 2024. This innovative device marks Samsung's entry into the arena of combined robot vacuums and mops, integrating advanced features for efficient home cleaning. Although pricing and release details are yet to be disclosed, Samsung's preview offers insights into the potential capabilities of the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo.
With a distinctive round form, the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo features a self-emptying and self-cleaning charging base named the Clean Station. This station not only empties the robot's bin but also refills its water tank while simultaneously washing and drying its dual spinning mop pads. The Clean Station introduces a 3-step Total Cleaning System for mop pads, encompassing auto wash, steam cleaning, and auto dry with hot air. This multifaceted system ensures thorough cleaning, hygiene, and prevention of odors.
An innovative steam cleaning function sets the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo apart from other robot vacuums. It can be applied to both the mop pads and hard floors when encountering dried stains. Upon detecting a stain, the vacuum returns to the Clean Station, heats the mop pads with high-temperature steam and water, and then swiftly tackles the mess with its 170 RPM spinning mops.
The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo incorporates Samsung's AI technology, initially featured in the Jet Bot AI Plus, for enhanced navigation and obstacle avoidance. This AI-driven intelligence enables the robot to recognize common household items and navigate around them. The Combo boasts upgraded object recognition, recognizing a broader array of household objects than its predecessor, along with the ability to identify distinct spaces and detect floor stains.
A new 3D sensor enhances precise navigation. The robot's intelligence extends to floor types through AI Floor Detect, distinguishing between hard floors and carpets. It can decide whether to lift its mop pads when encountering carpets or return to the base to remove them before vacuuming rugs.
A unique mop removal feature sets the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo apart, allowing seamless transitions between sweeping and mopping without manual intervention. Samsung is yet to provide detailed specs, such as runtime, battery size, brush type, dust bin, water tank capacity, or the presence of a camera.
